In talks all over the US, Tom has asked thousands of people if they were diagnosed and given drugs in less than an hour. More than half have said yes, many in 15 minutes or less. Of course, when he asks the same of doctors he gets a different answer. It seems there is a disconnect, but assessments are clearly not what they should be. It should be criminal to prescribe mind altering drugs without thorough assessment and education.
Our assessment program is second to none. It is integrated, thorough, and ongoing. Instead of relying on one person, we have a team that looks at all aspects of the clients health - mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, relationships, and career. Our team includes top professionals including peers who have direct experience of the condition. The same team handles the treatment and meets regularly as well as shares notes from each session. Assessments are the basis of treatment and are used to make sure that the program is on track for success.
One of the outcomes of the education program is a life plan. The plan is written personally by each individual and spells out a clear path to follow. The assessment/treatment team uses the life plan as a basis for designing the program and helps each individual to adjust the plan as needed. The life plan sets measurable milestones for one day, one month, three months, six months, one year , and two years and is the road map to success. The assessment program follows the plan by reviewing and revising the goals at each milestone.
The ongoing assessment is accomplished by our online database. Protected securely for each individual, the database includes meeting notes for each team member and is controlled and accessed by the client. The client knows each day what the assessment/treatment team is thinking and has the ability to add his/her own comments to the notes.
