Bipolar is a disorder only because we have not yet learned how to handle it. Putting Bipolar In Order is possible if you are willing to do the hard work necessary to achieve it. Our workshops and speaking engagements give you the understanding and the tools for the job.
Speaking engagements are usually 45 minutes to 2 hours and can be custom designed to cover specific groups or topics. They are a great way to bring new members into your group and are often seen as the best event the group has ever had. Tom has been to NAMI and DBSA conferences at the state and national level as well as local groups. Government and other mental health groups have also had him at conferences and other events. He has also been on various TV and radio programs. You can listen to recordings by visiting our Recordings & Video section.
Bipolar In Order workshops range from 6 hour one day events to five day retreats. They are appropriate for anyone open minded enough to see that it is possible to make changes in our behavior. Friends & Family, professionals, and those just interested in learning more about bipolar have said that the workshop was really for them as much as bipolar people. Most of the quotes you see throughout the website and in the endorsements section are from people who have taken the workshops.
Bipolar In Order speaking engagements have been given before audiences of as many as 600 people, the largest workshop so far was 275. Our smallest groups are in the 20 - 30 range. If you would like to have us at your group, contact us to schedule dates.
