Meeting with other people who are going through the same issues can be very good for you - if it is managed correctly. Unfortunately, most support groups are managed so poorly that they might as well be considered to be supporting failure. It is a huge mistake to leave something so important to amateurs who don't even have the right attitude, much less the skills to properly direct the group. Our support groups are directed by people trained in both facilitation skills and the principles of Bipolar Advantage. Support groups done right can make the difference between turning bipolar into an advantage and allowing it to remain a disorder.

Our professionally led support groups help people to focus on what is needed to find success. It is not your typical complaint session where people just dump their problems on everyone without taking responsibility for them. Our groups produce results while exploring issues in a much deeper way than what is typically covered in other support groups.

People who attend our support groups are encouraged to work more closely with their family, friends, clergy, and professional team. This creates better compliance with the whole program, both medications and in following your plan for success that you develop in our Bipolar In Order Workshops. Please Contact us if you would like to find a support group in your area or would like to start one.

I felt empowered to help me help others and myself.
